Are you ready to lead SHEQ across a high-impact utilities contract?
We’re working with a leading infrastructure contractor to find a Health and Safety Manager for a critical role supporting a major water provider on capital delivery and pipeline maintenance projects.
This is a strategic position where you’ll shape safety culture, manage a regional team, and liaise directly with senior stakeholders, all while improving essential infrastructure.
You’ll be stepping into a stable, long-term contract (AMP8), working with a respected name in the sector, and reporting directly to a Senior Health & Safety Manager with strong backing from the SHEQ leadership.
The business boasts a strong infrastructure pedigree, ongoing growth plans, and a genuine commitment to flexibility and development.
This is a hybrid position with 2 days from home, 2 days out to sites, and 1 day from the office just outside South London
What’s on offer?
Salary of £70,000–£80,000

25 days holiday + Bank Holidays The role:
Lead SHEQ for a large framework across South London and the Thames Valley
Manage and develop a team of 3–6 SHEQ Advisors
Act as a senior point of contact for external and internal stakeholders
Drive incident investigations, internal audits, and continuous improvement
Deliver high-quality reports and ensure CDM compliance
Actively contribute to operational and leadership meetings What we’re looking for:
NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent
CMIOSH (or working towards it with a clear plan)
Strong background in civils, utilities, or infrastructure
Full UK driving licence
