About the Role

The Plant Fitter will carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of construction plant. The work is a mix of workshop-based and site support, keeping downtime to a minimum and standards high.

What You Will Be Doing

Servicing and maintaining construction and civil engineering plant

Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults

Carrying out repairs efficiently and safely

Inspecting plant to ensure compliance and readiness for site

Responding to breakdowns when required

*

Keeping clear and accurate maintenance records

*

Working closely with site teams and management

*

Maintaining high standards of health and safety

What They Are Looking For

Experience working as a Plant Fitter or similar role

*

Background with construction, civil engineering, or utility plant

*

Strong fault-finding and practical repair skills

*

Ability to work independently and manage workload

*

Full UK driving licence preferred

*

Relevant mechanical or plant qualifications beneficial
