Electrical Shift Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Bias Shift Leader to join one of the UK’s leading building services providers on a prestigious, critical contract in the City of London.
This role offers the chance to work as part of a large, highly skilled engineering team on a critical site, operating on a continental shift pattern (days and nights). The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience and a strong background within the building services maintenance sector.
This is a highly rewarding position with excellent long-term prospects. Our client is known for investing heavily in their engineers and actively promoting from within.
Key Duties
Completing logbooks, RAMS, and technical reports
Attending and contributing to client meetings
Liaising with client representatives regarding corrective and remedial works
Issuing and managing permits to work
Raising and closing jobs via PDA systems
Promoting safe working practices and ensuring quality standards are met
Isolating plant and systems in line with safety procedures
Ensuring all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations
Managing and carrying out PPM across HV & LV systems, UPS, generators, and associated plant
Overseeing HVAC cooling and heating systems, including CRAC units
Monitoring BMS and associated systems for alarms and operational performance Requirements
City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ (or equivalent)
HVAP qualified or willing to undergo HV training
Previous critical site experience (Data Centre or Banking environments preferred)
Strong client management skills
Proven ability to lead and manage a team
Solid background in building services maintenance Package
Salary up to £52,000 - £56,000
Continental shift pattern (days & nights)
