Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading global manufacturing company based in Sunderland. They are looking to bring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team and work on their exciting, leading projects.

Electrical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for designing electrical and control systems for their products, supporting both pre- and post-sales activities. From producing electrical schematics and BOMs to offering production and test support, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions.

Electrical Design Engineer Key Requirements:

Strong background in electrical design (schematics, layouts, LV circuits)

*

Experience with Eplan Electric P8 preferred but not essential.

*

Knowledge of EN61439, BS7671, and electrical installation standards

*

Familiarity with Amtech, Dialux, SAP, and MS Office

*

HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering + ideally an apprenticeship

*

Detail-oriented, communicative, and self-motivated
