Team Manager – Inbound Sales | Insurance Sector
Location: Romford (office-based, 5 days a week)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic + up to £9,000 realistic bonus
Shifts: 7-day operation on rotation
A rare opportunity has come up for an experienced Team Manager to join a fast-growing, high-performing insurance business based in Romford.
This company has seen rapid expansion, growing to over 200 staff in the last year alone. Due to this success, they’re now in urgent need of strong, people-focused leadership to help drive the next phase of growth in their contact centre team.
The Role:
You’ll take ownership of a team of 16 inbound sales agents, managing performance, development, and engagement across all areas. From running 121s and coaching sessions to optimising KPIs and customer outcomes, you’ll be the go-to leader to help this already successful team thrive.
Your day-to-day will include:
Motivating and developing your team to exceed targets
Managing performance and coaching for sales and service
Monitoring key contact centre metrics
Driving a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborating with senior leadership to align strategyWe’re looking for:
? 3-5 years’ experience in a contact centre management role
? Background in insurance, life insurance, or wider financial services
? Proven success managing teams of 8+ in a sales environment
? Strong commercial awareness and KPI-driven leadership style
? A hands-on coach who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings
