Job Title: Architectural Technologist

Location: London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Aztrum is working in partnership with a respected architectural practice currently seeking to strengthen their team with an experienced Architectural Technologist. This is a full-time position offering flexible working arrangements, a collaborative studio culture, and the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects, including residential, education, mixed-use, and heritage sectors.

The role is ideal for a technically focused and proactive individual with at least 5 years’ professional experience, particularly in the delivery of construction-stage packages. A thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and modern methodologies is essential.

Responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:

Leading and coordinating education projects at all stages
Creating detailed working and tender drawings
Submitting planning and building regulation applications
Conducting site surveys and visits to ensure compliance
Collaborating with clients, consultants, and local authorities

Key Requirements for this Architectural Technologist role:

Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
Strong experience in a UK-based practice
Proven experience in the education sector
Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD
Familiarity with UK Building Regulations
Strong design and technical detailing abilities
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confident in job running and project management
