We are working with dynamic and inclusive secondary schools across Rochdale who are seeking motivated Science graduates to join their support teams this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or educational psychology.

As a Science Graduate Support Assistant, you will:

Work alongside experienced science teachers to support students in lessons and practicals

Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to boost engagement and understanding

Help prepare materials and equipment for experiments

Inspire students to develop a love of learning and curiosity in science

Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment

We're looking for:

A recent graduate in a science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)

Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is a plus but not essential

A genuine interest in education and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
