Job Title: Year 6 Teacher - Blackburn

Location: Blackburn

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 6 students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents and school leadership
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and parent-teacher conferences

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Relevant teaching qualification

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
Experience working with Year 6 students

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education
Specialist training in literacy or numeracy

Working Conditions:

Work primarily within a classroom setting
Regular interaction with students, parents, and school staff
Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
