Job Opportunity: Full-Time Orthodontic Nurse

Location: Woking

Salary: £13 to £17 per hour (this is dependent on experience and how the interview goes)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clinicians during general, restorative, surgical, and sedation procedures, ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.

Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation procedures in accordance with current guidelines and best practice.

Take, process, and manage dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with IRMER regulations.

Prepare sedation equipment and medication, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate clinical records, sedation logs, and consent documentation.

Support decontamination and infection control processes, ensuring compliance with CQC and HTM 01-05 standards.

Provide chairside support for a wide range of dental treatments, including complex and multidisciplinary cases.

Offer reassurance and guidance to nervous or anxious patients undergoing sedation.

Ensure all equipment, instruments, and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard.

Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and support the smooth running of the practice.
