An independent firm of accountants is recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and the senior team to deliver high quality accounting, tax and business services to a varied client base.

As Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include:

* Preparation of accounts and tax returns for limited companies, partnerships and individuals

* Supporting client managers on more complex assignments

* Opportunity to assist client managers on audit assignments

* Assist with mentoring and training more junior members of the team

* Develop and nurture strong client relationships

We welcome applications from candidate with the following skills, experience and attributes:

* Be ACCA/ACA qualified – exceptional, experienced part qualified or qualified by experience applicants may be considered

* Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice

* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102

* Excellent general IT skills and good knowledge of accounting software

* Strong verbal & written communication skills

* Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
