Maintenance Engineer, Milton Keynes, Salary: £56,000 Continental shift (day/night rotation)
 
Mechanical or Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer wanted to keep production lines running smoothly. The role can be 80% mechanical / 20% electrical or 80% electrical / 20% mechanical, depending on your skill set. If you're a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical and/or electrical skills, this could be the perfect fit.
 
Maintenance Engineer responsibilities
·Keep production moving - perform planned and reactive maintenance
·Diagnose and fix faults - minimize downtime and improve efficiency
·Hands-on work - welding, lathes, milling, and general fabrication
·Electrical troubleshooting - basic to intermediate fault-finding on machinery
·Improve and innovate - collaborate with the team to enhance processes
 
The successful Maintenance Engineer will posess
·Mechanical or electrical engineering background in a production setting
·Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, milling, and lathe work (mechanical bias)
·Electrical fault-finding skills (electrical bias)
·Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
·Experience in manufacturing or the food industry is a bonus
