Production Operative - Single Face Roll Operator

Location: DS Smith Packaging, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH, United Kingdom

Rate: £12.21 per hour (paid breaks)

OT 1 x1.5 Monday to Saturday

Double time on Sundays

Shift: Mon-Thu 06:00-16:00, Approved working beyond 42 hours per week will be considered as overtime.

Contract Length: Temp to Perm (3 months initially)

Responsibilities:

● Operate machinery safely and efficiently

● Ensure productivity and performance targets are met

● Maintain consistent quality standards

● Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per schedule

● Adhere to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times

● Support improvement initiatives as needed

Essential requirements:

● Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment

● Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation

● Safety-focused with a positive, enthusiastic attitude

● Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

● Team player, quality-conscious, and adaptable to multi-skilled working
