Role: Trainee Lock Engineer 

Location: Brentwood 

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 

Salary: £13ph 

We are recruiting for a Trainee Lock Engineer to join a growing, well-established team specialising in vehicle security installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a practical mindset, and is keen to develop a long-term career in a mechanical/technical field.

No previous lock engineering experience is required, full training will be provided. What matters most is a willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and confidence using hand tools.

Duties of a Trainee Lock Engineer:

Assist with the installation of mechanical locks and security components
Use hand tools safely and effectively
Follow technical instructions and workshop processes
Support senior engineers as you build your skills

What we would like from you:

Experience using hand tools (personal or professional)
An interest in mechanical, technical, or hands-on work
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team
