Tradewind Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Islington. This role involves supporting KS1 pupils in the classroom, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

The Role

Provide in-class support to KS1 pupils, including 1:1 and small group assistance

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and interventions

Assist pupils with learning, behaviour, and social development

Prepare and adapt resources to meet individual needs

Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour in the classroom

Record observations and provide feedback to teaching staff

Requirements

Experience supporting children in KS1 or Early Years

Ability to adapt to different learning needs and abilities

Patient, caring, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
