Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 PA DOE

Location: Taunton, Somerset (1 day working from home)
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

2 days working from home per weekAre you a qualified Financial Accountant from practice looking to transition into industry? We're working with a dynamic and expanding business based in Taunton, Somerset, seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join their friendly and sociable team.
The Role
As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and HMRC regulations
Manage VAT returns and support tax planning
Prepare acquisition accounts and validate completion accounts
Submit Confirmation Statements to Companies House
Implement and maintain internal controls
Lead internal and external audits
Collaborate across departments to support financial strategiesWhat We're Looking For
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
