CNC Machinist - Precision Engineering

This opportunity is within a well-established precision engineering firm based in Lancashire BB4 area, with a highly experienced team and modern, high-tech facilities, the company delivers outstanding service and engineering excellence across a wide range of manufacturing sectors.

This role is ideal for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong programming and setting skills across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines. It would suit someone who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team. A background in subcontract manufacturing and a willingness to engage with new technologies will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Set, programme, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines, Mazak
Read and interpret technical drawings and programme directly from them
Operate ancillary equipment such as laser markers and deburring machines
Carry out in-process and final quality checks on machined components
Load and unload materials safely, including use of forklift (training provided)

Benefits

Salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Day shift - Monday to Friday - 7.30am - 4pm, 7.30am - 3pm
