Job role: Upholsterer

Location: Kirkby

Pay: £11.99 - £13.29

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Upholsterer to join a growing team in the upholstery section in a rapidly expanding business.

Purpose of the job

Working in the upholstery section as part of a small team, upholstering all social space products. Involvement in introducing new products and trials.

* Maintaining a high level of craftsmanship on a wide range of products.

* Responsible for working to a high standard.

* Hands on experience in cutting and template making.

* Work accurately to technical drawings and specifications.

* Working to deadlines

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

* Experience in all upholstery skills & techniques – Ideally 1 year plus.

* A strong upholstering background with a keen eye to detail and accuracy in all work to ensure production times and quality control standards are met.

* Previous experience of air powered staple guns and hand tools is necessary.

* Experience in measuring and cutting.

* Experience / knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:00

Hourly Rate: £11.99-£13.29 – This will depend on your experience.

20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and an additional me day
