Graduate Civil Engineer

We are currently looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our engineering team on a major infrastructure project in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience on complex and high-value construction works across the civil engineering sector.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engineering excellence and committed to developing technical, leadership, and project delivery skills within a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction works on site.
Work closely with senior engineers and site managers to ensure designs are implemented to the required quality and safety standards.
Contribute to the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
Support the engineering team with setting out, surveying, and technical reporting.
Engage in quality control processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Maintain detailed site records and support the production of as-built documentation.
Develop a clear understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works, and logistics.
Actively contribute to a positive safety culture and promote best practices on site. 
Experience / Qualifications:

A recently completed degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng).
Good understanding of core civil engineering principles and construction methodology.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Enthusiasm to learn and apply technical knowledge in a real-world environment.
Basic understanding of health & safety and environmental regulations in construction.
Competent in Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD or other relevant software.
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
