Empowering Learning are seeking experienced and passionate SEND Teachers to work across a range of special schools and mainstream provisions in the Wirral and surrounding areas.

We have ongoing roles available for teachers who are committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.

The Role:

Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual EHCP targets.

Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Lead support staff effectively, ensuring consistency and collaboration.

Implement positive behaviour strategies and tailored interventions.

Work closely with parents, SENCOs, and external agencies to support holistic development.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS or QTLS (or is an experienced instructor with SEND teaching experience).

Has strong experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within a specialist or inclusive setting.

Is creative, patient, and adaptable, with excellent classroom management skills.

Demonstrates a clear understanding of differentiation, sensory learning, and communication strategies (e.g., PECs, Makaton).
