Senior Urban Designer

A highly-regarded, multidisciplinary architectural, construction & design practice is looking for an experienced Urban Designer to join its growing team based in its lovely offices in Farringdon, London.

The Senior Urban Designer role

The successful Senior Urban Designer role is an integral part of the Studio’s project teams, working closely with experienced leaders and contributing vision and technical expertise to shape inspiring spaces.

Working on suburban and urban masterplanning, town regenerations and new communities, along with producing frameworks, masterplans and visions, this is a challenging and rewarding role.

The Senior Urban Designer

The successful Senior Urban Designer will have:

* Ability to lead projects with support from team leader, manage meetings and carry out presentations

* Ability to coordinate and liaise with sub-consultants

* Experience of working on sub-urban masterplanning, town regenerations, and new communities along with urban experience

* Production of frameworks masterplans and visions

* Production of land budgets and proving layouts with schedule of accommodations

* Production of documents: Design Access Statements, Design Codes, Vision and Frameworks

* Good graphic skills including Adobe package, AutoCAD, Sketchup

* Minimum 5 years of urban design experience.

* £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
