Position: CNC Miller - Setter/Operator

Location: Chesterfield  

Salary: £30,(Apply online only) - £38,(Apply online only)

Permanent nights – 10pm – 6am.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their night shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Mazak or Fanuc machinery, specifically 4 or 5 axis to manufacture parts for Rolls Royce engines. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality components are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with colleagues to optimise manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with expertise in operating Mazak or Fanuc machinery.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
Willingness to work night shifts and flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
