SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Part-Time) – Church Warsop

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Class Mate is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Church Warsop to recruit a caring and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil on a part-time basis.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for a KS1 child with additional needs

*

Implementing strategies outlined in the child’s EHCP

*

Supporting the child’s academic, social and emotional development

*

Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo

*

Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

*

Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting

*

Calm, patient and confident in delivering individual support

*

Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

*

Flexible and proactive with a positive approach to challenges

*

Relevant training (e.g. autism awareness, Team Teach) is desirable
