Job Title: Site Manager – University Refurbishment Projects

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of refurbishment projects within live university environments across Huddersfield, Wakefield, and Bradford. These projects require a safety-first approach, excellent planning skills, and the ability to manage works with minimal disruption to ongoing campus operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations on university refurbishment projects.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
*
Manage health & safety on live sites, ensuring strict compliance with all regulations.
*
Liaise with university clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
*
Maintain accurate site records, quality control checks, and progress reporting.
*
Ensure snag-free handover and high standards of finish.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience delivering refurbishment projects in live environments, ideally within the education or public sectors.
*
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and risk management.
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid qualifications are essential.
*
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites in Huddersfield, Wakefield, and Bradford.
