Do you have an engineering degree and broad strokes knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering? (mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, systems)

Would you like to work in the rail sector and do you have an interest in trains/railways?

This could be the role for you!

We're looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer with a keen desire to work in the railway sector. This isn't a hands-on R&D position, but you'll be crucial in defining requirements based on safety standards within development projects. You'll be involved at every stage of the project lifecycle, from raising assumptions and requirements in tenders to specifying aspects for project design and generating justification documentation. Working with a small organisation, you may also contribute to other engineering aspects related to your background. We encourage identifying areas for improvement, and your suggestions will be heard and considered by the R&D team.

You'll be part of a small, dynamic organisation that values your input and encourages discussion. This is a niche but vital role within the engineering discipline, offering a great opportunity to specialise in product safety within the rail industry. We recognise this is not a typical graduate role and are looking for individuals who are genuinely interested in making a significant impact in a specialised field. We're looking for someone who has an interest in trains and railways. There will be limited hands on R&D work as part of this post.
