Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Yatton, Nailsea and Backwell) - November start date!

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of thriving primary schools in and around Yatton, Nailsea and Backwell. Role Details:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools

Location: Yatton, Nailsea and Backwell, North Somerset

Start Date: November 2025

Contract: Full-time, Part time, term-time only

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£90 - £110 a day)

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children in their learning, both inside and outside the classroom
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and pupil engagement
Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Encouraging children's social and emotional development through play and structured activitiesIdeal Candidates Will Have:

A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach
Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
