We are currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role starting in September, at a well-established Primary school in Southwark and will continue on a full-time basis until July 2026.
This position involves delivering targeted intervention support in Maths and English, as well as occasionally leading the class in the teacher's absence.
You will be required to support children with Special Educational Needs within their ARP, and tailoring activities to best support their needs.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and passionate about supporting student progress across both core subjects and the wider curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver small group and 1:1 intervention session including Maths and English.
Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Lead the class when required, ensuring
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
