Job Description:

We are working with a reputable, busy commercial contractor, well known for delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across South Wales and the surrounding regions. The business has a strong pipeline of secured work, excellent client relationships, and benefits from high staff retention and a collaborative team culture.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team and play a key role in securing and pricing a diverse range of projects.

Projects typically include commercial fit outs, office refurbishments, retail schemes, education works, and public sector upgrades, ranging from small works through to multi-million-pound contracts.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting the business in winning new opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

* Producing bills of quantities and take-offs

* Obtaining and analysing subcontractor quotations

* Value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities

* Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams

* Supporting handovers to the operations and commercial teams
