Bandsaw Operator (with CNC Experience)

Location: Middleton Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £29,500 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Operator with CNC experience to join our client's team in Middleton. This permanent role offers stability, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with precision cutting machinery in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials to specification

Set up, programme, and operate CNC equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders

Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company standards

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience operating bandsaws in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Strong CNC programming and operating skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Strong awareness of health and safety practices

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
