Aqua-Tech Technical Services are currently looking for an experienced EICA Commissioning Engineer to work on a range of water treatment works.
Job Title: EICA Commissioning Engineer / Co-ordinator
Reports to: EICA Manager
Location: Dover & Surrounding Areas (Clean Water Treatment Works)
Contract Type: Contract (Immediate Start – Minimum to End of 2025)

Job Purpose:
To supervise the electrical installation of equipment on clean water treatment sites and assist in the commissioning of installed equipment in close collaboration with installers, the client, and project stakeholders. You will be responsible for generating inspection and test sheets for installed items and ensuring all works comply with the plant design and relevant standards.
This is a hands-on role with a strong co-ordination and client-facing component, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical water infrastructure.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise on-site electrical installation works in line with project design documents and client standards.
* Assist in the commissioning and functional testing of EICA systems in collaboration with the Commissioning Engineer.
* Liaise with the Project Manager to co-ordinate work effectively and meet project timelines.
* Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
* Ensure all electrical activities adhere to Company Electrical Safety Rules and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
* Generate and complete inspection and test documentation (ITPs) for installed systems.
* Record as-built information and progress on record drawings or relevant documentation.
* Conduct inspection of incoming materials and verify documentation against design and specification.
* Ensure all method statements, work instructions, and HS&E documentation are up to date and compliant.
* Engage directly with the client to ensure expectations are managed and met.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Systems background
* Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
* Experience supervising site installations and supporting commissioning
* Understanding of functional testing and system integration
