Business Development Manager — Corporate Travel – Fully Remote
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional to make their mark within the corporate travel sector in joining a well-established travel management company. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and growing new business relationships with prospective clients across the UK.
Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate travel market — from small enterprises to larger corporations
Qualify prospective clients and manage your pipeline, turning leads into secured new business relationships.
Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records within the company’s database, ensuring a clear view of pipeline activity.
Take ownership of the complete sales process — from initial qualification through to implementation
Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations, demonstrating your understanding of prospective clients’ travel needs alongside the range of services we provide.
Support the implementation team to enable a smooth delivery for new clients’ travel programmes.
Business Development Manager Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in B2B sales within a corporate travel management business
Strong commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
IT competency and confidence working in a technology driven environment
Flexibility to travel and visit clients around the UK
Experience in building long-term relationships with clients and in securing profitable new business for the company
Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering results
Business Development Manager Additional details:
A basic salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per year + commission
Pension + private healthcare
Fully remote with travel to visit clients and attending industry events
