We’re seeking a talented and driven Product Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking design and development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning innovative concepts into production-ready solutions. You’ll be involved from the earliest stages of product ideation through to final design validation and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine product concepts, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Translate brand identity into cohesive product designs across a range of product families

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks, including surface and solid modelling.

Ensure designs are optimized for large-scale manufacturing.

Use rapid prototyping tools to support usability and functional testing.

Conduct early-stage testing and interpret results to guide design improvements.

Produce technical documentation including design risk assessments, manufacturability reviews, and test reports.

Collaborate with production teams to support design transfer and trial builds.

Experience/qualifications/skills:

3+ years’ experience in a product design role within a consumer or technical product environment.

Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally Solidworks.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding and metal forming.

Experience with design validation and preparing products for mass production.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage project deliverables.

Degree (2:1 or above) in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
