1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Location: Burnley (Primary School)

Hours: Part-Time (22.5 hours per week, Mon-Wed)

Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 pro rata (Grade 5, SCP 6-11)

The Role: We are looking for a patient and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will work closely with the SENCO to implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP), focusing on communication, sensory regulation, and social integration.

Key Requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Proven experience supporting children with additional needs (SEND).

Ability to adapt curriculum materials to meet the specific needs of the learner.
