The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Belfast area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Sunday - up to 5/6 shifts a week (weekends included) on a rota basis.

Pay Rate:

Days - £19.00 per hour PAYE

Nights- £20.50 per hour PAYE

Location: Unit 9H, McKinney Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey, Belfast, BT36 4PE

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
