We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in advanced engineering solutions, seeking a Product Inspection Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of engineers and technicians. This role supports the development of cutting-edge technologies focused on cleaner, more sustainable mobility solutions.

The Role

You will lead and develop the product inspection team, manage advanced inspection and metrology equipment, and play a key role in continuous improvement and quality assurance processes. Your expertise will contribute to key projects from new product development to performance validation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading, mentoring, and developing the Product Inspection team

* Managing and maintaining advanced inspection technologies

* Driving continuous improvement and risk management

* Representing the business with suppliers and customers

* Managing multiple projects across cross-functional teams

* Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

* Overseeing inspection training and calibration schedules

What we’re looking for

* Proven leadership in engineering or lab environments

* Experience in precision engineering and metrology

* Strong understanding of GD&T and surface measurement

* Familiarity with 3D metrology and inspection systems

* Experience in the automotive sector (ideally diesel systems)

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management

* Programming skills (MATLAB, Python, VBA) desirable

* Detail-oriented, data-driven, and solutions-focused
