Our client is a market leading manufacturing business in Team Valley who are going through a period of planned expansion. The company are looking to recruit a trainee laboratory assistant to work on an ongoing basis, possibly becoming permanent..
The Trainee Lab Technician will be responsible for testing product in a laboratory environment to ensure the quality complies with exacting standards. A high level of attention to detail is required and a willing attitude to learn new processes.
Previous lab work is not essential as full training can be provided. An interest in Chemistry and Science would be advantageous.along with good exam results at school in these subjects.
Hours of work are 7.30am-4pm with a 1.30pm finish on a Friday. There may be some flexibility required on occasions in relation to start times.
This is intially offered on an ongoing basis however the Company have a good track record of employing people on a permanent basis if the candidate is working well
