Science Teacher – Full Time
Location: Dudley Port
Setting: SEMH School

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Science Teacher to join a dedicated team at a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in the Dudley.This is a full-time position, suitable for an experienced teacher or a confident practitioner looking to make a meaningful difference.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons to pupils with SEMH needs

*

Adapt teaching approaches to support diverse learning styles and emotional needs

*

Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment

*

Work collaboratively with support staff, pastoral teams, and leadership

*

Support pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/or equivalent)

*

Experience teaching Science at secondary level (or strong subject knowledge)

*

Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential)

*

Calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management

*

Committed to inclusive education and building strong relationships with pupils
