Placements Officer – Children’s Services

Location: Wokingham (Hybrid Working)

Contract: 3 months with the view for extension 

Rate: £22.98 per hour paye

We are seeking an experienced Placements Officer to join our Children’s Services team in Wokingham on a hybrid working basis.

Key requirements:

Previous experience in Children’s Social Care or equivalent
Proven children’s brokerage experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure while remaining highly organised and proactive
Skilled in multi-agency working, including with health services, voluntary and community sector, local councils, and the independent sector
Professional approach to managing referrals from Social Workers, ensuring accurate information to secure suitable placements for children and young people
Awareness of health and safety responsibilities relating to both self and children in care
