Job Title: Teaching Assistant

£85 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities
Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Preparing and organising educational materials and resources
Supporting the social and emotional development of the children 

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Previous experience working in an educational setting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of child safeguarding policies and procedures

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with Primary aged pupils preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of educational practises and principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
Organisational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily conducted in a classroom setting
May involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of educational materials
Work hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
