SEN Primary Teacher
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Long-Term Opportunity
Daily Rate: £160 – £280 per day
Location: Twickenham
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Twickenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils within a SEN primary setting, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils in KS1 or KS2
Support pupils with additional learning needs through personalised teaching approaches
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and support staff
Implement strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to support development
Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and engagement The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience teaching in a Primary school setting (KS1 or KS2)
Experience supporting pupils with SEN / SEND
A patient, calm, and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
QTS or relevant teaching qualification (preferred)
