Financial Controller

Hertfordshire – 4 days per week on-site

c£65k + 15% Bonus

The role:

* Act as the finance business partner to the UK commercial organisation, working closely with senior leadership

* Full ownership of monthly close, reporting, and accuracy across P&L and balance sheet

* Lead budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning cycles, translating volume into sales, cost and EBIT

* Drive pricing, costing, margin analysis and profitability improvement

* Deliver insight, challenge and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making

* Support key projects including business reviews, audits and SAP S/4HANA implementation

Ideal candidate:

* Partially/Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

* Degree qualified

* Strong background in commercial finance / FP&A

* Experience within FMCG or retail environments preferred

* Confident business partner with strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills

* Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced, brand-led environment

Benefits & details:

* Salary: c£65k

* Bonus: 15%

* Holiday: 26 days + benefits (pension, healthcare, etc.)

* Individual contributor role – no direct reports

* Location: Hertfordshire On-site requirement: 4 days per week (non-negotiable)
