Academics, a trusted education recruitment agency, is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Northwich to recruit a passionate and experienced Year 5/6 Teacher for a maternity cover role starting September 2025. This is a part-time position, working Thursdays and Fridays, ideal for someone seeking a well-balanced teaching role in a supportive school environment.

The Role:

Teach a mixed Year 5/6 class, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Work closely with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and successful maternity cover

Support the school's high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress

About You:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in upper KS2

Confident in classroom management and differentiated teaching

Committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about primary education
