Science Tutor

We are looking for a dedicated and patient Science Tutor to join our friendly tuition hub in Crosby, Liverpool.

This role involves working one-to-one with students of varying ages and abilities, many of whom are working below expected levels and require additional support to build confidence and understanding in science. This role will involve working 2-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of a Science Tutor:

Deliver engaging 1:1 science tuition tailored to individual learning needs

Support students with foundational knowledge and confidence-building

*

Adapt teaching methods for different age groups and learning styles

*

Track progress and provide constructive feedback

*

Create a positive, supportive learning environment

Requirements of a Science Tutor:

*

Qualified Teacher Status or Strong knowledge of science up to GCSE level

*

Experience working with children or young people (tutoring or teaching experience)

*

Patient, encouraging, and adaptable approach

*

Reliable and committed to regular weekday sessions

*

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
