QC Technician - Job Summary
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Pay: £12.65 per hour

The QC Technician will inspect, assemble, and package laboratory consumables. You will operate labelling/packaging equipment, complete paperwork, support quality checks, and help other departments when needed.

Main Responsibilities

Operate packaging and labelling equipment
Print labels and complete batch paperwork
Follow material and production process steps
Perform in-process and final product inspections
Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance
Enter downtime data and process batch records
Support other production tasks when requiredRequirements
Experience

Required: 1+ year in manufacturing, production, lab, or similar environment
Preferred: Experience in cGMP or any laboratory settingEducation

High School Diploma or equivalentSkills

Good communication
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Able to follow instructions
Can multitask and prioritiseWork Environment

PPE provided (full lab attire, hair tied back)
Onsite lab/manufacturing setting
Team-based environmentTop Skills Needed

1+ year relevant experience OR scientific-related education
Any cGMP or lab experience (preferred)
