We are looking for a Assistant Buyer & Internal/External Plant on an ongoing or temp to perm position in Camridge area.

Job description:
• Support procurement of materials and hired-in plant equipment for construction projects.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers-negotiating prices, tracking deliveries, and resolving invoicing issues.
• Work closely with our Senior Buyer and project teams to ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Manage inventory and ensure prompt return of hired-in equipment to avoid extra charges.
• Track and report on procurement activities and help identify cost-saving opportunities.

• 2+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain (construction industry a plus).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, a strong team player, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
• NVQ or degree in a related field (preferred but not essential).
• Confident using Microsoft Office and procurement software.
