Yolk Recruitment is supporting a growing creative manufacturing business with a new opportunity for a hands-on Production Manager to lead a specialist print and production team. Due to continued growth and increased demand, this high growth business are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the department, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in delivering exceptional results.

This is what you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process for large format print projects, leading a small but skilled team to deliver outstanding results for exhibitions, signage, and displays. This is a hands-on role, combining leadership and technical expertise, where you'll be actively involved in running print machines and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Oversee the full production process from planning to delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
Lead, motivate, and support production staff, providing guidance and hands-on support as needed
Develop and manage production schedules to meet client deadlines and project requirements
Collaborate closely with creative, design, and technical teams to integrate all production elements
Operate and maintain print machinery, including CNC and RIPs (such as Onyx), ensuring optimal performance and safety
Uphold and implement quality standards, addressing any issues promptly to guarantee client satisfaction
Monitor production data, analyse performance metrics, and report on key KPIs (output, downtime, waste)
Supervise installations and dismantling at events, ensuring health and safety compliance
Act as the key point of contact between production, sales, and operations to ensure strong communication and alignmentThe experience you'll bring to the team

Proven experience in a production management role within the print, exhibition, POS, or signage sector
Hands-on experience with print machinery and related software (including CNC and Onyx RIPs)
Ability to lead and motivate small teams, managing multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience collaborating across departments to deliver integrated project solutionsAnd this is what you'll get in return
