FREELANCE QUANTITY SURVEYOR 

6 MONTHS CONTRACT

My client is a well-established residential developer based in Kent who is seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a 6-month contract to support the team through a busy period of large-scale projects.

About the Role:

This position is office-based, working 5 days a week from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Head Office in Kent. You’ll be joining a small, friendly team, providing crucial support with subcontractor payments and orders.

Key Responsibilities:

COINS System: Full use of COINS for all required job functions – daily experience with COINS is essential.

Subcontractor Payments: Managing and processing payments for subcontractors (50% of the role).

Subcontractor Orders: Setting up and managing subcontractor orders within COINS.

Team Support: Assisting colleagues with COINS-related queries and resolving system-related issues.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within residential development.

Strong proficiency in COINS – this will be your primary tool, used daily.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Availability to commit to a full-time, 6-month contract.
