Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their education journey?
We’re looking for motivated and confident Youth Workers to step into Cover Supervisor roles across secondary schools in the Stafford area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience working with young people — whether in youth work, mentoring, coaching, or support roles — who is looking to move into a school-based position.

The Role:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students with their learning.

Build strong relationships with students, encouraging engagement and motivation.

Provide pastoral support and act as a positive role model.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, mentoring, support work, coaching, or education).

Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.

Willingness to work across a range of secondary schools.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
