Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Cutter Grinders to support a busy and highly skilled manufacturing team on a long-term contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced Walter grinding technology in a precision motorsport engineering environment, with strong visibility and continuity through to the end of 2026.

The successful candidates will work within a specialist tool grinding environment, supporting the manufacture and inspection of precision cutting tools. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Walter grinding platforms, including both online and offline programming capability.

Manual wheel change
Running Helitronic ToolStudio 3
1 × Walter Helicheck Advanced (inspection)
1 × Offline Programming Seat
Running Helitronic ToolStudio 2
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Cutter Grinder / Tool Grinder
Strong hands-on capability with Walter Helitronic grinding machines
Experience using Helitronic ToolStudio (online and/or offline programming)
Understanding of tool inspection processes (Helicheck experience advantageous)
Ability to work to tight tolerances and quality standards
Comfortable working independently within a structured production environment
