Connected Search Group is an exclusive partner to a well-established UK-based manufacturer supplying a diverse range of market sectors including construction, automotive, modular buildings, and more. The business operates across multiple divisions with an annual turnover of around £15 million.

We are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join a specialist division within the business. This division is one of the leading product providers in Europe, offering a wide range of value added services including CNC cutting and shaping.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth with existing and new customers nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop sales with new and existing clients

*

Identify and convert new business opportunities

*

Manage and follow up on leads generated from digital marketing platforms

*

Progress quotations and contracts

*

Provide technical support to contractors and end users

*

Prepare and present monthly sales reports

Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual with a proactive approach to sales. The role requires UK-wide travel, so a full UK driving licence and comfort with driving long distances are essential.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong communication skills (face-to-face and telephone)

*

Numerically competent

*

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

*

Previous experience in a sales role

*

Knowledge of the construction or insulation industry is an advantage

*

Full, clean UK driving licence

Location:
The role will be based partially at our manufacturing site in South Yorkshire, conveniently located near the M1 motorway. Travel across the UK to meet clients is required.

Working Hours:

*

Full Time

*

Monday to Thursday: 8:15am – 5:00pm (45-minute break)

*

Friday: 8:15am – 2:15pm (30-minute break)

Salary & Benefits:

£40k to £50k (negotiable, depending on experience)
