This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Delivery Driver / Loader to join our family-run business based at Farthing Road in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holiday (1 week for Christmas shut down).
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7 – 5.30pm. You would be required to work one Saturday per month.

About the role:

As our Delivery Driver / Loader, you’ll be the face of Ipswich Glass, ensuring that our glass products are delivered safely and efficiently to our valued clients. In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll be working Monday to Friday, with an occasional Saturday morning. Main duties and responsibilities:

Load and unload vans, ensuring all glass products are handled with care.
Scan glass onto the van for accurate inventory tracking.
Complete multiple daily deliveries (average of 12 drops) across Suffolk, Essex, and London.
Maintain loading sheets and ensure all deliveries meet company standards.
Collaborate with team members to streamline delivery processes and enhance efficiency.

About you:

We’re looking for a reliable and punctual Delivery Driver / Loader who holds a full, clean driving licence. Would be ideal if you hold a Forklift Licence too. You are someone who thrives as part of a team, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in your work. Your strong communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction will make you an invaluable member of our team.
